American Rag Cie x Citizen Alterna Chronograph Watch


Coming off a recent collaborative effort with Casio on their classic G-Shock model, Japanese boutique American Rag Cie celebrates their 10 year anniversary with another watch company, Citizen. Taking much of the same color and design approach, American Rag crafts this Citizen Alterna effort with a sophisticated finish. Spike Lee x Casio G-Shock Release


One of the most influential film makers and most recognizable New Yorker’s of our time, Spike Lee has been holding it down for a long time. Hooking up with the 25th anniversary festivities, we received a preview of the Spike Lee inspired G-Shock watch back in July and now they have released. The design is kept to a minimum with red accenting, his signature engraved on the backside and a brick wall print backing also available at Vegas coupons. Yokohama Triennale x Nooka + bluemark Zub 20


Contemporary art festival Yokohama Triennale originated in 2001 and will undergo its third exhibition this year. The exhibition itself showcases numerous mediums including sculptures, videos, photographic displays and paintings. With over 70 artists participating from around the world, the Yokohama Triennale also includes a series of educational workshops. To mark the event and its theme of Time Cervasse, design-heavy watch brand Nooka has created an exclusive colorway of their popular Zub for the event. Futura Laboratories x Medicom Toy x Casio - G-Shock Bearbrick Set


In a project largely kept under wraps, Futura Laboratories along with Medicom Toy and Casio put together a special collaboration which features both a classic DW-6900 watch and Medicom Toy Bearbrick. Despite the multiple colors seen on the watch, the balance of color is kept in check with the all-black body and black LCD display. The Bearbrick follows a similar pattern as each body part is done up in a different color. Set for a mid-December release. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at the FL Shop as of tomorrow. In4mation x Casio G-Shock DW-5600 Preview


Following up on their devastatingly simple and clean G-Shock collaboration of a few months ago, In4mation has unveiled a second timepiece. Following similar lines as the first watch, the second time around presents a purple colorway with blue highlights on a glossy body. Stay tuned for a better look down the line. The following States will have a sneak preview privilidge and be allowed to purchase this a week before its release: Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.

ALIFE x Casio G-Shock “Three Six Bloody Three Six”


Following up on ALIFE’s Casio G-Shock collaboration, ALIFE has released more details after its Three-6-Mafia Courtyard Session at its New York City flagship store. The Casio G-Shock DW-5600E is limited to 100 pieces and will be available this Saturday, August 16th, only at ALIFE NYC. As the Session was named “Three Six Bloody Three Six”, the watch features a “666″ on the band, along with the ALIFE logo. A commemorative t-shirt and lighter will also be available at its NY, LA, and Vancouver locations. There’s already people lined up at ALIFE NY for these!

While much of the world is coming to gripes with rising commodity prices and expensive gas prices, Tag Heuer is set to launch its own collection of luxury cell phones on level with the likes of Nokia’s Vertu. With various trims all priced at over $5,000 USD, the debut Meridiist is best highlighted by its solid build quality while the technical specs would leave most tech-savvy buyers wanting more. The watch also includes a dedicated “Tag Heuer” button which should be along the lines of Nokia’s personal secretary service.

Nixon Winter 2008 Collection


Introducing a couple of new models to their lineup, California based Nixon Watches have expanded tremendously since their beginnings in the late 90’s. For the Winter lineup, the popular 51-30 model gets a few new color treatments to its dials including Red, Blue, and Yellow while two new models are introduced. The R1G1 has a square frame with thinner leather straps and innovative dialing while The Private sports a more simple exterior and round frame. Included in the Winter lineup is the Time Teller in an all black colorway as well. Look for these to drop sometime in the near future at Nixon retailers such as FIEIL.

Head Porter W62S | SO906i Case


In a release relevant for the Japanese market, Head Porter has released a series of cell phone cases for two of Sony Ericsson’s top of the line mobile phones, the W62S and SO906i. In an interesting move on SE’s part, neither the photography intensive W62S nor the video and visuals focused SO906i are available outside of Japan. FATYO 6th Anniversary FATIME Watch


Getting away from the G-shock trend, and following in the steps of Bapex, Tokyo kingpins “FATYO” are putting out their own “FATIME” watch. This “Daytona” based design is a collabo with Zozotown’s Dedue store for Fat’s 6th Anniversary. Most details are kept true to the Rolex’s original version. Color-wise, the watch face comes in comes in black, green, blue, and yellow. Though it talks the talk, this watch unfortunately does not have diving capabilities. So you can get it wet in the rain but you won’t be going all out with it.

UCS x G-Shock


In the limitless sea of G-Shock collaborations to celebrate G-Shock’s 25th anniversary, the fashion label of Japanese MMA fighter Caol Uno UCS has teamed up to release an ultra-clean watch. Nooka Glow in the Dark Zub


In honor of the widely successful Glow in the Dark Tour featuring Kanye West, N*E*R*D, Lupe Fiasco and Rihanna, watch brand Nooka re-worked their Zub watch in a special Glow in the Dark finish. The watches were given as a gift to Kanye and company at the completion of the tour last Saturday in Los Angeles. The Zub watch is among the latest in popular watch styles which utilize more abstract time-telling methods with the use of changing LED bars to denote the time. With only 15 watches produced, a larger release is more then unlikely.

In watch maker Citizen’s latest time-telling initiative, the watch maker founded the Real Scale collection. Marked by a series of collaborations with non-traditional watch designers such as accomplished Japanese musician Koichiro Yamamoto, the projects inject new life and interest into world of watches. This particular Yamamoto designed piece is sleek in nature with an all black theme and a free-flowing and smooth shape. Available later this month with a suggest price of ¥29,400 JPY (approximately $271 USD).
